How much do pot lights cost in Toronto?
Most Toronto electricians charge $150 to $300 per light installed. Our price is $55 per light in a finished ceiling, $60 with an attic above and $40 in open joists, with a $500 minimum job.
Do you need to open my ceiling?
Usually not. We fish wire between the holes for each light. On some ceilings we make one or two small access holes and leave them patch-ready.
How long does it take?
A typical 10–12 light room takes one day.
Is an ESA permit needed?
Yes. Every pot light job in Ontario needs an ESA notification. We file it and it is included in your price.
